I have been doing mat and reformer workouts at the Pilates Studio for four years. During that time I have made significant gains in core strength, flexibility and balance. I have enjoyed the camaraderie of small group classes and benefited from the personal attention Dawn is able to give because the classes are small.

The small class size and Dawn's attention to each individual is what keeps me coming back session after session. The classes are fun, yes, but I know that she's subtly and steadily increasing the demands on my body while at the same time making sure that no one part is over-straining to compensate. There is no feeling of competition in Dawn's classes, just camaraderie and gentle, steady progress.
I tried a lot of other studios before finding Dawn's, but now, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I love the Pilates Studio, and I love the way Dawn teaches. All I can say is, come out and see for yourself. But don't use the reformer in the corner. That one's mine!

I first started Pilates training as part of a Physiotherapy program for some lower disc issues and sciatic nerve problem. Initially, it was relatively simply moves to try and regain some of the movement and flexibility that I had lost. It has now been 3 years and I am thrilled with the results. My lower back issues have not flared up once since I have been working with Dawn and the Reformer classes that she offers. I can honestly say that my entire core strength, back and supporting abdominal muscles have never been stronger or healthier.
Dawn is VERY much aware of each person's ability in her classes and is able to offer safe modifications or words of caution when anyone tries something that may be beyond their personal limits. I fully credit Dawn with my stronger lower back which has added huge benefits to my daily life - (as well as my golf swing) giving me increased flexibility, strength and power in everything that I do.
